We are recruiting on behalf of our client to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Location: Garki, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Field Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales within your assigned territory by identifying and qualifying leads, developing strong relationships with potential customers, and closing deals that contribute to our overall growth. You'll be the face of the company in your territory, building trust and exceeding expectations every step of the way.

Responsibilities

  • Actively identify and qualify new leads within your assigned territory through various channels (e.g.cold calling,networking,industry events).
  • Conduct thorough research to understand potential customer needs and pain points.
  • Prioritize leads based on potential and fit for our products or services.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with potential and existing customers through in-person meetings,phone calls,and email communication.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings tailored to each customer's specific needs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing and beyond, ensuring timely follow-up and consistent communication.
  • Utilize our CRM system effectively to track leads, opportunities,and customer interactions.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and quotas.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline health,and competitor analysis.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of your assigned territory, including industry trends, customer needs,and competitor landscape.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory to drive sustainable growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local influencers and business partners.
  • Continuously stay up-to-date on industry trends,competitor offerings,and company products/services.

Qualifications

  • BSc / HND in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in a field sales environment.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation,and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong rapport and trust with clients.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed,and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
