A leading Engineering and Project Management Service company in the 'offshore' oil and gas services in Nigeria is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Expert Diver

Responsibilities

• Candidate must have deep understanding in all aspects of Subsea engineering and commercial diving operations including surface supplied, mixed gas, saturation diving techniques from Dynamic Positioning Construction Offshore Diving Support vessels.
• Oversee to ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Ensure industry recommended code of practice in respect of subsea operations are met and complied with.
• Comply with company policies on Security Safety Health and Environment (SSHE) regulation.
• Ensure Risk Assessment are made under the regulations obligations for an Assessment.
• Promote safety awareness and safe performance among project team members.
• Enforce approved Diving Project Plan and ensures adherence to documents, drawings and specifications for the offshore activity.
• Understand field operational process, permit to work and isolation process.
• Interfaces between client project team, sub-contractor and marine crew.

Requirements

• Successful Candidates are required to have a minimum of 15 years work experience for the above listed position with required certifications of having worked in underwater Operations, sub sea Construction and installations, Asset integrity (inspection, repairs and maintenance), IMCA certificationsetc.
• Also experience of having worked with IOC's in Nigeria is an added advantage and come's
• Experienced in Management of Change process.
• Diving System Auditing Assurance.
• Building workplace resilience.
• Exercising due diligence.
• Knowledge of all aspects of diving decompression tables and diving medicine.
• Working knowledge of underwater Non Destructive Testing techniques.
