Job Description

• Our client is in need of a Senior Engineer / Project Manager who would be responsible for overseeing engineering teams in Ilorin, Kwara State.
• He /she would be responsible formanaging workflow and monitoring progress toward goals, and ensuring that teams complete all projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the construction of 11 units of one storey houses and ancillary buildings.
• Ensure that work is carried out according to the approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards and agreed schedule.
• Responsible for the timely delivery of the project.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets the required standards.
• Very high quality precision construction is expected.
• Lead the other members of the team in execution of works.
• Conduct safety briefings and promote a safe working environment.
• Report on project status and any deviations from the plan.
• Request Procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment in good time to avoid delays.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory bodies, and utility providers.
• Propose and implement solutions to overcome challenges.
• Oversee site surveying and layout activities to ensure accurate positioning of structures and elements.
• Plan and manage site logistics, including the flow of materials, equipment, and personnel.

Key Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering COREN certification.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.

Salary
N100,000 / month.
