Mission

• To provide optimal electrical and electronic solutions aimed at improving the operational efficiency of MTNN network.
• To support the development and maintenance of MTNN Site Build Specifications.

Description

• Conduct a technical evaluation of new network product technologies and methodologies.
• Conduct Random checks on installed RF and TX equipment on sites
• Provide technical support in the resolution of product selection and complaints, and support the business on safety issues and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate the business impact analysis of proposed new technologies.
• Interface with MTNN Access Transmission Planning, Enterprise Business Units, and Towercos for tower loading analysis and approvals.
• Value analysis of Towercos OPEX claims.
• Facilitate the conduction of FNI-First node integration of active components for the access networks.
• Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties (e.g., strategic investors, technical and financial partners, business consultants, etc.) and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers.
• Coordinate, coach, and influence external partners and essential support departments across MTNN’s business units to deliver a seamless pre-sales and post-sales service experience.
• Coach and train the team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets and requirements, and regular review of their training needs.
• Review the performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
• Identify the training requirements of team members and develop a program to address knowledge gaps and enrich the knowledge repository within the department.

Educational Qualifications

• First Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related fields
• Fluent in English
• M.Sc. in Telecoms, MBA, or equivalent would be an advantage.

Experience:

• 6–13 years’ experience, which includes:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience in supervising or managing others
  • Experience working in a medium- to large-sized organization.
  • Experience within a radio frequency planning and optimization function in a dynamic telecommunications environment
  • Experience working on a multi-vendor network.
  • Experience with ZTE and Huawei equipment will be desirable.
  • Experience in 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G radio technologies
