We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our team at Nando Homes Limited. As a key member of our design and development department, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the implementation of our various real estate projects.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Architect

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints.
• Develop architectural designs, drawings, and specifications for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects.
• Create conceptual sketches, 3D models, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Ensure that designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and feasibility for new construction or renovation projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into the design.
• Review and approve drawings, material samples, and construction documents to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Provide guidance and support during the construction phase, addressing design-related issues and facilitating problem-solving.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture and construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or pursuing licensure as a registered architect.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and project management, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
• Strong design sensibility, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices is a plus.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and building technologies.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
