Job Description

• Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled IT Manager specializing in hardware and networking to oversee the brand’s IT infrastructure and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• As the IT Manager - Hardware/Networking, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining brand's hardware and networking systems.
• Your role involves overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware components, as well as managing network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and data security.

Responsibilities

• Procure, install, and maintain hardware components such as servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage hardware inventory, including asset tracking and lifecycle management.
• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT assets and data.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS, ensuring software updates and patches are applied in a timely manner.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Implement backup solutions to ensure the integrity and availability of data.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Liaise with hardware and software vendors to procure IT equipment and services.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and networking issues promptly.
• Collaborate with helpdesk and support teams to address user concerns.
• Maintain documentation of hardware configurations, network diagrams, and IT procedures.
• Generate regular reports on IT infrastructure performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of proven experience in IT management, specializing in hardware and networking.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
• Experience with server and desktop operating systems, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
