Tenstrings Music Institute is the largest music school in Nigeria, with study centers in Ikeja, Lekki/Ajah, Surulere, Festac Town, Port Harcourt and Abuja; with plans to open more centers in other major communities across the country. Tenstrings has trained over 15,000 students from 16 countries over a period of 15 years. Tenstrings is duly registered and accredited by the appropriate government agencies in Nigeria and is affiliated to several reputable universities around the world. We are also incorporated in the UK and operating there as “Africa Heritage Academy Uk Ltd”.

Our programs cover two specific areas: Music Performance and Music Production. We have over ten different courses in these two key areas spanning different durations and depths. Depending on the amount of time at your disposal and the skill level you want to attain, we have programs from three months to two years in length.

Tenstrings was founded to cater to the needs of young music artistes who desire to build careers in contemporary music (Hippop, Reggae, R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Rock, Highlife, Afrobeat,etc) by equipping them with an all-encompassing music & business training. This is the reason the institute adopts what is called adynamic curriculum (we are constantly adjusting our course contents & delivery to align with global trends in contemporary music business).

Job Title: Executive / Admin Assistant

Job Description

• The Executive Assistant and Admin will provide comprehensive administrative support to senior executives and assist with day-to-day office operations.
• The role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior executives in managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
• Organize and maintain executive files, documents, and records.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of executives.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for executive team members.
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Assist with meeting preparations, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Provide general administrative support, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
• Assist with office management tasks, including managing supplies, organizing office events, and maintaining office efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and office management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.

Salary
N50,000 - N100,000 / month.
