Mantrac is the sole distributor for Caterpillar products in Nigeria, distributing and supporting machinery, power systems and material-handling equipment. The company provides customers with comprehensive solutions, backed by technical know-how, experience and in-depth knowledge of their local markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Parts Administrator

Location: Oregun, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary of Responsibilities 

  • Primarily responsible for the administration of parts activities in all branches. Handle workshop parts requirements and management of available parts to satisfy customer orders.

Main Function

  • Responsible for processing workshop orders and advising both warehouse and workshop for necessary action.
  • Ensure regular contact with all cost center managers in service department to improve parts availability.
  • Responsible for managing allocated parts and ensuring they are supplied to the right customer.
  • Ensure that all completed and allocated parts on MANPRO are issued/invoiced within 10 days or else reverse back to stock.
  • Responsible for daily check of ACTIVE ORDERS on the MANPRO for appropriate action.
  • Maintain and fill all backorder orders through parts availability with the use option PA51/PA52.
  • Follow up with logistics for IBT receipting to reduce Lead Time.
  • Follow up with the hose specialist and warehouse supervisor for quick assembling and receipting of hoses.
  • Follow up on the service department to close WIP over aged jobs and review all outstanding parts for service jobs to improve parts supply Lead-time.
  • Liaise with order fulfillment team to advice service department of their backorder parts.
  • Run customer orders report for oversea shipment and use it to issue out newly receipted parts.
  • Prepare report for aged customer orders and WIP for respective branches.
  • Prepare/make reports as it relates to Parts Admin to PI&OFM
  • Work closely with the Inventory and OF team to handle ‘inactive” inventory items accordingly.
  • Coordinate use of bulk purchase programs for customer orders.
  • Assist in REMAN core returns process.
  • Handle allocation, de-allocation, and amendment of parts orders when required.
  • Monitor due/overdue parts orders and close all empty ref/orders.
  • Assist in kitting of parts e.g. Preventive Maintenance kits, gasket kits, shell kits.
  • Advice concerned on replaced part numbers and update Manpro accordingly.
  • Carryout any other job assigned by the Parts Inventory & Order Fulfillment Manager.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 3 years work experience.
