We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Outbound Logistics Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all activities related to the outbound logistics operations of the organization.
• This includes overseeing the timely and accurate dispatch of both export shipments and local finished goods, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Export Operations Management:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of export logistics operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth export processes.

Local Finished Goods Dispatch:

• Manage the efficient dispatch of finished goods to local customers, distributors, or retail outlets.
• Optimize transportation routes and modes to meet delivery timelines and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate, manage and control all the transporters (Logistics) and contract.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Ensure that outbound logistics operations contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Documentation Accuracy:

• Oversee the preparation and processing of shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the smooth flow of information and documentation.

Performance Metrics:

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outbound logistics, such as on-time delivery, shipping accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Cost Management:

• Participate in developing and managing budgets related to outbound logistics activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, Social Sciences or Sciences or any other related fields
• 7-10 years’ experience in related roles
• Use of Microsoft Offices – Excel, Words, Navision etc
• Good communication Skills - oral and written
• Good Relationship Management Skills
• Analytical skill.
