About the Role

• We are looking for a hungry, diligent, well-organized team member to join our Risk department as a Credit Manager.
• The Employee will drive the efforts and processes related to collections of our PAYG products in the field.
• They will also give advice and suggestions on how to improve customer payments and satisfaction while ensuring that the company offer matches end-users expectations.

What you would be expected to do

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by assessing financial data, credit reports, and payment histories.
• Set credit risk assessment for premium products and company policies.
• Develop and implement credit risk mitigation strategies to minimize disabled lamps and debt exposure.
• Monitor accounts defaulter aging reports and take proactive measures to ensure timely repayment collections.
• Communicate with team regarding disabled accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve disputes.
• Work with sales, programs, finance, and other departments to facilitate the credit approval process and address credit-related issues.
• Review and update credit policies and procedures to reflect changing business needs and industry best practices.
• Train and mentor corporate risk staff to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on credit performance, aging assessment, and bad debt reserves for management review.
• Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments affecting credit management practices.
• Red flag identification and timely reporting of the same.
• Any other task allocated by the Credit Process Manager.

You might be a strong candidate if you

• Have Bachelor's Degree / Higher Diploma in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Credit Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in credit assessment and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of financial evaluation, credit scoring models, and risk assessment techniques.
• Proficiency in using Excel, Looker, PowerBi, SQL etc.
  Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Demonstrated managerial abilities and the capacity to mentor and develop team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work without supervision, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements governing credit operations.
• Experience in the [Renewable Energy sector] is preferred.
