Job Title: Insurance Risk Advisor

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Kaduna, Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, and Sokoto
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Type: Full Time (Mondays and Thursdays)

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Insurance Risk Advisor in an insurance firm to join our team and serve as a valuable intermediary between our company and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services such as insurance coverage
• Assess client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
• Guide clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision
• Cultivate client base and build win-win relationships
• Network, generate leads and grab opportunities to sell mutual funds, etc to meet sales quotas
• Keep abreast of new industry’s trends and research market to back up financial consulting
• Oversee the course of the financial plan and update it, if necessary, to ensure profits
• Comply with all industry rules and regulations
• Liaise with providers, solicitors, valuers and other professionals

Requirements and Skills

• ND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Insurance, Finance or related field
• Excellent PC knowledge and ability to operate database systems
• Proven working experience as a Risk Advisor, Controller, Planner, Specialist or relevant experience
• Track record of successful financial guidance
• Ability to analyse market’s financial data and to provide appropriate data-based advice
• Strong communication. negotiation and presentation skills
• A professional appearance,
• Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
• On-going training in the latest products and benefits.
• Attendance at product launches and seminars.
• Compliance to regulations and policies.
