Position Overview

• As a Financial Officer within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, you will be a key member of the finance team, contributing to the efficient financial management and decision-making processes of the organization.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of success in financial roles within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports, providing insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial statements for management and external stakeholders.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, providing recommendations for cost optimization.

• Cost Management:

  • Analyze and control costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and operational efficiency.

• Financial Planning and Strategy:

  • Assist in the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

• Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to meet operational needs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize working capital.

• Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial data and documentation.

• Financial Systems and Technology:

  • Utilize financial systems and software to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in financial management.

• Ad-Hoc Analysis and Projects:

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in special projects as assigned by management.
  • Provide support for decision-making by presenting insightful data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Financial Officer or similar role within the FMCG industry.
• Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of FMCG industry dynamics, market trends, and supply chain finance is a must
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
