Job Summary

• As the Supply Chain Manager for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Your role will encompass strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management to ensure seamless operations and maximize efficiency.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within the foodservice industry.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Supply Chain Planning:

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on cost optimization, efficiency improvement, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, assess capacity requirements, and develop sourcing strategies for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and addressing any issues or concerns proactively.

Procurement and Purchasing:

• Oversee the procurement process, from purchase requisition to order fulfillment, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Implement procurement best practices, such as vendor consolidation, strategic sourcing, and competitive bidding, to optimize procurement spend and reduce total cost of ownership.

Logistics and Distribution Management:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of goods to QSR locations.
• Optimize transportation routes, modes, and carriers to minimize lead times, transportation costs, and carbon footprint while maintaining service levels.

Inventory Optimization:

• Develop inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
• Implement inventory forecasting models, demand planning tools, and replenishment systems to ensure optimal inventory turnover and availability.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and drive efficiency gains throughout the supply chain.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and champion innovation initiatives to enhance supply chain agility and resilience.

• On-time delivery performance
• Inventory turnover ratio
• Supplier performance metrics (e.g., lead time, quality, fill rate)

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
