Description

• We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer with a background in architecture to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, a strong architectural foundation, and proficiency in AutoCAD, among other relevant software tools.
• This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial spaces, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand their requirements, preferences, and design objectives.
• Develop conceptual and schematic designs for interior spaces, incorporating architectural principles, spatial planning, and functionality.
• Produce detailed design drawings, renderings, and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software tools.
• Create mood boards, material palettes, and visual presentations to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and project teams.
• Research and source materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that align with the design vision and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of design plans within budget and timeline constraints.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions, verify measurements, and monitor construction progress as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in interior design and architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Architecture, or related field.
• 5-10 years experience as an interior designer with a strong architectural background preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software tools.
• Excellent design sensibility, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to interior design and architecture.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of interior design projects, including concept development, design documentation, and project implementation.
