Description 

• The position exists to transport missionaries, guests, packages, materials, merchandise, and other duties as assigned to destinations, by safely applying knowledge of driving regulations following instructions given.
• The candidate shall also maintain vehicle logs, perform basic maintenance, and inspect the vehicle regularly to ensure optimal performance and operation. May be required occasionally to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transports missionaries or delivers goods to destinations safely and using knowledge of driving regulations.
• Verifies goods against shipping documents.
• Maintains vehicle logs and performs basic maintenance. 
• Inspects vehicles regularly to ensure optimal performance and operation.
• May load and unload vehicle.
• May provide emergency roadside repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School / Diploma Certificate or equivalent
• Two to five years of driving experience with a good driving record and safety minded.
• Possess a valid Driver's license with Basic knowledge of auto mechanics.
• A polite and professional disposition with good interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to follow directions and familiarity with GPS devices.
• Demonstrated ability to care for and highly regard church vehicles and equipment.
• Must understand and be able to use Microsoft Office Applications, internet services, and wireless communications.
• Availability to occasionally work weekends and night shifts.

Worthiness Qualification:

• Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
