TheHRHive - Our client, Eka Sekibo & Co, is a firm of Estate Surveyors and Valuers registered by Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) to practice the profession of Real Estate Surveying and Valuation throughout the Federation.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Manage all as aspects of Operations – Property management of the office and other apartments in the company’s portfolio, Regular update of the property register, Identifying and Resolving all shortfalls and documenting them with full resolutions.
• Aesthetic and Optimal Cleanliness of the compound and surroundings ensuring optimal hygiene and housekeeping, identify mosquito infestations of the surroundings, and addressing need for prompt fumigation to ensure 100% residents’ satisfaction.
• Manage the aesthetics of the surroundings of the generating sets observing diesel levels and monitoring records to ensure that all readings are correctly recorded and tally with other readings for validation as well as time of power supplies recorded in the different journals kept by our manager and other personnels detailed to perform the task.
• Powering, Metering, and Consumption Duties – Priority duties for the officer – The sensitivities of this section must be observed and attended to with utmost care and diligence. The appropriate skills demand must not be compromised. All readings must be taken by designated staff with care and at appropriate times. Residents that indicate interest in accompanying designated staff to take their apartment’s readings should not be discouraged. This boosts resident’s trust in our system.
• Management of the Water treatment plant and regular Back washing and chlorination of the system.
• Regular Treatment of the swimming pool and close monitoring of the use of the pool by residents only.
• Regular management of the Gym and oversight functions of the equipment especially for record keeping and maintenance purposes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental studies
• Knowledge of building construction
• Ability to drive
• B-tech an added bonus

Salary
N90,000 - N100,000 monthly.
