Job Description

• We are seeking a talented and creative Book Illustrator to join our team. As a Book Illustrator, you will be responsible for bringing stories to life through captivating visuals and illustrations.
• You will work closely with authors and editors to understand the essence of each story and translate it into engaging and visually appealing illustrations that enhance the reading experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with authors and editors to understand the themes and visual requirements of each project.
• Create original illustrations that align with the tone, style, and narrative of the story.
• Develop character designs, settings, and scenes that capture the imagination of readers.
• Revise and refine illustrations based on feedback from authors, editors, and other team members.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and deliver high-quality work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Illustration, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience as a Book Illustrator or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of illustration styles.
• Proficiency in digital illustration software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate.
• Excellent drawing and conceptualization skills, with a keen eye for detail and composition.
• Ability to interpret written descriptions and translate them into visual storytelling.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A passion for storytelling and a creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
