Job Title: Technical Assistant to the MD

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and implement strategic initiatives focused on the public sector and real estate sectors.
Conduct thorough market analysis, identify emerging trends, and assess competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
Policy Analysis and Advocacy: Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the public sector and real estate industries. Analyze policy implications and provide recommendations to the Managing Director on advocacy efforts and strategic positioning.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community representatives. Represent the organization in high-level meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote collaboration and partnership opportunities.
Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying potential opportunities for growth and expansion within the public sector and real estate markets. Assist in the development of proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new clients and projects.
Project Management: Take a lead role in managing strategic projects and initiatives from inception to completion. Coordinate cross-functional teams, set project goals and milestones, and track progress against objectives. Provide regular updates to the Managing Director and executive leadership on project status and outcomes.
Financial Analysis and Resource Allocation: Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess the feasibility and ROI of potential investments and initiatives in the public sector and real estate sectors. Assist in resource allocation decisions to optimize financial performance and maximize value creation.
Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the public sector and real estate domains. Leverage insights to position the organization as a thought leader and trusted advisor in these sectors through publications, white papers, and speaking engagements.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with strategic initiatives and business operations in the public sector and real estate arenas. Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
MBA or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or a related field.
7 - 12 years cognate experience.
Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, or consulting roles, with a focus on the public sector and/or real estate industries.
