Job Title: Communications and Events Manager

Location: Somolu, Lagos
Level: Senior Level

Job Summary

• The Communications and Events Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR & and communication strategies, and plans, branding marketing, managing media relations, crisis communications and management, and media amplification for a firm in the development consulting space.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• Master's degree, MBA, and necessary certifications are an added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications
• Proven record of accomplishment of successful media relations and generating high-profile coverage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must possess development consulting experience working with NGOs, government agencies
• Strong, commendable, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
• Crisis communication experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in PR and communication tools, such as media monitoring software and content management systems.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative communication ideas.
• Outstanding project management and organizational skills.
