Job Title: Landscape Architect

About the Role

• We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Architect to join our team and play a key role in designing and developing inspiring outdoor spaces.
• You will be responsible for the entire design process, from initial concept development and site analysis to construction documents and project oversight.
• As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to bring your vision to life.

Responsibilities

• Site Analysis and Planning: Conduct thorough site evaluations, considering topography, soil conditions, drainage, vegetation, and existing infrastructure.
• Conceptual Design & Project Management: Develop creative and functional design concepts that meet the client's objectives, adhering to environmental regulations and budgetary constraints. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Technical Skills & Design Documentation: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans, sections, elevations, and construction documents. Prepare specifications and cost estimates for project materials and functionalities.
• Client Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate design concepts and technical details to clients, stakeholders, and other team members. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Sustainability & Environmental Impact: Integrate sustainable principles into designs, considering factors like water conservation, energy efficiency, and native plant selection.
• Stay Current with Industry Trends: Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in landscape architecture through research, continuing education, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field, from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture firm.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design software.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and materials.
• A passion for creating beautiful, functional, and sustainable outdoor spaces.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / Month
