Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja

Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.
• You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects by managing costs, preparing estimates, and mitigating risks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for building projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify and quantify required materials and resources.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Identify and manage potential cost risks and propose solutions to minimize financial impacts.
• Prepare tender documents and negotiate contracts with contractors and subcontractors.
• Measure and value completed work, and prepare and process payment applications.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, project managers, and other construction professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project costs.
• Prepare reports on project progress and financial performance.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards, regulations, and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Experience with relevant quantity surveying software.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / Month.
