Job Description

• We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Product Manager/Product Owner Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management and development within a fast-paced environment.
• The successful candidate will work closely with our team to contribute to the creation and enhancement of various projects, including but not limited to the ARO website, The Manor hotel websiteand other upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, specificationsand timelines.
• Assist in the development and execution of product roadmaps.
• Conduct research and gather requirements to inform product decisions.
• Utilise agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to manage and prioritise product backlogs.
• Gain proficiency in project management tools such as Trello, Muraland Figma.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of project management systems, including JIRA and Azure.
• Proactively identify and address issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and processes.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with agile principles and experience with Scrum is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Trello, Mural and Figma.
• Knowledge of additional project management systems like JIRA or Azure is advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, make mistakesand take initiative.
• Basic business knowledge and analytical skills.
• Possession of a functional laptop for work purposes.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

• Prior experience in product management or development, particularly in website or portal development.
• Completion of relevant online courses or certifications, such as those offered by Udemy or similar platforms.

Salary
N35,000 - N45,000 for the duration of the internship.
