Description

• We are seeking an experienced and motivated YouTube Channel Manager to join our team. We are building an Investing & Trading education channel focussed on Forex, Commodities and Stock Markets.
• As a channel manager, you will be the leader responsible for building, managing, planning content, optimizing our YouTube Channel to drive engagement, and viewership, build subscriber base and overall growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage our YouTube channel from scratch.
• Hire, manage & lead remote YouTube channel Team of editors, content creators and communicate, collaborating with them to get required results.
• Create strategies & implement them to grow channel subscribers, gain views & monetize it.
• Create & report KPIs, and performance metrics to stakeholders
• Planning & creating engaging content to grow subscriber base.
• Plan and schedule content posts in alignment with content strategy to gain traction.
• Optimize video tags, metadata, thumbnails, titles and descriptions to improve discoverability, search visibility and rankings for target keywords.
• Monitor comments, respond to inquiries, and engage with the community todrive engagement.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trending topics, keywords, and video formats to capitalizeon.
• Implement SEO strategies to improve organic reach and maximize video visibility.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and YouTube algorithm changes.
• Monitor metrics & track performance of posted videos.
• Identify problems & come up with solutions that will drive results
• Analyse competitors to come up with content consumption trends in the industry.
• Explore, shortlist, interact with potential advertisers and sponsors to forge partnerships and come with monetizationstrategies for the channel

Qualifications / Requirements

• University Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, and Media or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in similar roles managing, growing and monetizing YouTube Channel in Finance and trading segment.
• Understanding of best YouTube SEO practices, latest Algorithms, and familiarity of Analytics tools.
• Proficiency in video editing tools/software & other technical aspects would be a plus.
• Candidates should Have basic working tools required for the job.
• Effective communication, strong leadership & team management skills.
• Ability to come up with ideas and solutions to get results and stay ahead of the curve.
• Passion to stay updated with the latest trends in the industry.
• Passion for finance and trading.
• Knowledge of forex trading would be an Added Advantage.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
