Job Title: Music Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery:

  • Plan, prepare and delivered engaging music lessons to secondary school students.
  • Implement a comprehensive music curriculum aligned with academic standards.

• Instrumental and Vocal Instruction:

  • Provide instruction in both instrumental and vocal music, catering to varying skill levels.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse musical abilities.

• Ensemble Direction:

  • Conduct and oversee various music ensembles, such as choir, orchestra, or band.
  • Organize regular rehearsals and performances to showcase students' musical achievements.

• Assessment and Feedback:

  • Evaluate students' musical progress through assessments, projects, and performances.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their musical skills.

• Classroom Management:

  • Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Implement discipline and behavior management strategies as needed.

• Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with other music teachers, arts faculty, and school staff to enhance the overall arts education program.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

• Community Engagement:

  • Engage with parents, guardians, and the broader community to foster support for the music program.
  • Coordinate and participate in school concerts, recitals, and musical events.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years work experience.
