Best Life Schools, an esteemed educational institution situated in Idimu, Nigeria, is actively seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to become part of our team. Job Title: School Administrator

Location: Idimu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly organised and visionary School Administrator to join Best Life Schools. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our school, supporting teachers, staff, students, and parents in creating a nurturing and successful learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction in collaboration with the school leadership team, ensuring the vision, mission, and goals of the school are effectively implemented.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including administrative tasks, scheduling, facilities management, and student services.
  • Foster a positive school culture that promotes academic excellence, student well-being, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective educational programs, curriculum, and instructional strategies that align with educational standards and best practices.
  • Support professional development initiatives for teachers and staff, encouraging continuous learning, growth and advancement.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with parents, guardians, the wider community, fostering positive relationships and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety protocols, student welfare and reporting.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and procurement processes, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
  • Evaluate and analyse school performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance student achievement and outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of educational trends, research, and best practices, and provide recommendations for innovative approaches and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education Administration or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in school administration or a related field, with a proven track record of effective leadership and management.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of educational policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with instructional and curriculum design principles.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
