Job Title: NodeJS Developer

Location: Lagos

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a NodeJS Developer located in Lagos.
• The NodeJS Developer is responsible for creating server-side web application logic in Node.js, designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications, and integrating front-end elements into the application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ECMAScript 2015 and above), Node.js, and Express.js
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Web Sockets
• Understanding of Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Cloud Computing
• Experience with Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git) and Agile methodologies
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, and work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
• Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers is a plus
• Experience with Typescript and Front-End frameworks such as React.js, Angular.js, or Vue.js is a plus.
