We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director (MD) to formulate and execute strategies aimed at fostering the profitable growth and smooth operation of the company.
  • Develop strategic operational plans aligned with the long-term objectives set by the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain transparent communication with the MD to ensure awareness of daily operations and progress.
  • Implement robust operational planning and quality assurance protocols to uphold standards.
  • Establish and oversee financial planning and control mechanisms.
  • Assume full responsibility to the MD for all operational aspects of the company.
  • Spearhead research and development initiatives to keep the company innovative and competitive.
  • Formulate and execute effective marketing and public relations strategies to expand the company’s reach in the market.
  • Ensure clear understanding and ownership of operational objectives and performance standards by management and staff.
  • Implement company policies and procedures effectively across all departments.
  • Cultivate and lead a proficient management team.
  • Uphold operational performance standards across the organization.
  • Serve as the company’s representative to key customers and industry associations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics affecting the company’s operations.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to achieve organizational objectives and strategic goals.
  • Manage the management team to fulfill customer and stakeholder expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Exemplify and promote a culture of continuous development and excellence.
  • Lead, supervise, and inspire employees to deliver outstanding performance.
  • Champion diversity and inclusivity in the workforce.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and succession planning activities.
  • Facilitate communication of Board decisions to relevant personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Establish structures, systems, and processes to monitor industry policies and legislative changes.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc. / HND in any related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leadership and strategic planning in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and quality assurance standards.
