Job Title: Post-Construction Cleaning Technician

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking diligent and reliable Cleaning Technicians for a project-specific assignment lasting approximately 4 days, including the briefing day.
• The Cleaning Technicians will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure that the project site is maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
• This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Remove debris, trash, and construction materials from the project site.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors both internally and externally.
• Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers.
• Assist with specialized cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning, floor stripping, and polishing.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing cleaning duties.
• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions provided by supervisors to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning equipment and storage areas.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Uphold company policies and procedures related to cleaning standards and practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles preferred a minimum of 2 years.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must reside in Abuja
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
• Willingness to comply with safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and procedures.
