We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Shift In-charge

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical maintenance of shift operations.
• Should be able to check/test DC Motors and take necessary actions during any breakdown.
• Should be able to check/test the Mill AC Motors and take necessary actions during any breakdown.
• To maintain/troubleshoot the problems occurred for the Auxiliary AC Motors for the Entire Mill including the utilities.
• To maintain/troubleshoot the DC Drives of the Mill and auxiliary systems.
• To maintain/troubleshoot the Mill AC Drives of the Mill.
• Should understand the Automation system of the Mill, functions for smooth running of the Mill.
• To maintain/troubleshoot the Drives/Micro PLC/Field Sensors of the Pollution Systems.
• To maintain/troubleshoot the problems occurred for the Automation system.
• To troubleshoot any kind of problem related to Field devices/process Instruments.
• To maintain/troubleshoot the Hydraulic Panels at the Control Room/Shop Floor.
• Will maintain and troubleshoot the faults of Auxiliary systems of the Rolling Mill.
• To maintain the Control /Power Panels of the EOT Cranes.
• To check and rectify any kind of problems related to Control circuits of the EOT Cranes.
• Will check and maintain the Protection Systems of the EOT Cranes.
• Will maintain and troubleshoot any kind of problem in the MCC Panels.
• Will maintain and troubleshoot the problems of the Power Distribution Panels.
• Maintain the Cable route, trenches, dressing of all the cables.
• Will be responsible for electrical maintenance with minimum breakdown.
• Ensure preventive maintenance planning and implementation.
• Maintain the preventive maintenance schedules for all the equipment.
• To look after the ISO schedules/formats on regular basis.
• Will look after the Planning, Issue and storage of critical spares.
• Will prepare/repair the spares which can be used during any breakdown/shutdown.
• To list out the shutdown/modification/upgradation jobs on regular basis.
• Material planning for the planned shutdowns with respect to planned jobs.
• Ensure minimum stock Inventory wrt spares and consumables.
• Coordinate with Operation team for all the Machines/Equipment.
• Lead/Coordinate with the maintenance team for any kind of ongoing/ breakdown/ shutdown jobs
• Maintain and update logbook, History book of his shift.
• Implement the SOPs as per company standards.
• Ensure PPE usage & housekeeping.
• Train & guide his team on routine repairs, maintenance schedule planning.
• To perform additional tasks as required by the reporting Manager.
