Job Summary:
As an IP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IP network infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure connectivity for our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan network architecture, configure routers and switches, and troubleshoot network issues. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can optimize network performance, implement robust security measures, and deliver exceptional IP-based services.

Responsibilities:
1. Design, plan, and implement the IP network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
2. Configure and maintain routers, switches, and other network devices to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
3. Monitor network traffic and performance, identifying and resolving network issues, bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
4. Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access control lists, and intrusion detection systems.
5. Conduct network capacity planning and optimization to accommodate growing traffic demands and ensure scalability.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IP networks with other systems, such as voice and data services.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems, working closely with vendors and service providers if necessary.
8. Perform network configuration changes, software upgrades, and patches to maintain network integrity and security.
9. Stay updated with the latest IP networking technologies, industry standards, and best practices, recommending enhancements and improvements.
10. Document network designs, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) are highly desirable.
2. Proven experience as an IP Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar role, with a strong background in designing and maintaining IP-based networks.
3. In-depth knowledge of IP networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and VPNs.
4. Experience in configuring and managing Cisco or Juniper routers and switches.
5. Familiarity with network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, access control, and VPN technologies.
6. Strong understanding of network infrastructure components, including LAN, WAN, and data center environments.
7. Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
10. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4 - 5 years relevant work experience.

Salary Range

300,000 - 450,000 Net | Monthly
