Job Summary:
As a WiFi Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of our WiFi networks. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining WiFi infrastructure, as well as resolving complex technical issues related to WiFi connectivity and performance. We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual who can provide expert guidance, troubleshoot problems efficiently, and deliver outstanding WiFi services.

Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement WiFi networks to meet the connectivity needs of our customers, considering factors such as coverage, capacity, and security.
2. Install, configure, and maintain WiFi equipment, including access points, controllers, and network switches.
3. Conduct site surveys and perform RF analysis to optimize WiFi signal strength, channel allocation, and interference mitigation.
4. Monitor and analyze WiFi performance, network traffic, and user behavior to identify and resolve network issues and bottlenecks.
5. Perform thorough troubleshooting of WiFi connectivity problems, including authentication, encryption, and signal quality issues.
6. Implement and maintain WiFi security measures, including encryption protocols, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate WiFi networks with other systems and technologies, such as VoIP and security systems.
8. Stay updated with the latest WiFi standards, technologies, and best practices, recommending enhancements and improvements to the WiFi infrastructure.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams regarding WiFi connectivity, performance, and troubleshooting.
10. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CWNA, CCNA) are highly desirable.
2. Proven experience as a WiFi Expert, Wireless Network Engineer, or similar role, with a strong track record in designing and managing WiFi networks.
3. In-depth knowledge of WiFi technologies and protocols, including IEEE 802.11 standards, WiFi security mechanisms (WPA, WPA2), and RF principles.
4. Experience with WiFi network planning and design tools, such as Ekahau or AirMagnet.
5. Strong understanding of network infrastructure components, including access points, controllers, switches, and routers.
6. Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and techniques, such as packet capture analysis and spectrum analyzers.
7. Familiarity with network monitoring and management systems, such as SolarWinds or Nagios.
8. Knowledge of network security principles and best practices, including encryption, authentication, and access controls.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex WiFi issues.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4 - 5 years relevant work experience.

Salary Range

150,000 - 250,000 Net | Monthly
