Our products comprise of crumble, pellets, and mash made with high-quality ingredients and formulated to meet the nutritional needs of different types of poultry and other livestock.

Job Title: Nutritionist Manager

Role Purpose

• The Nutritionist Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the development and optimization of animal feed formulations that meet nutritional requirements and quality standards.
• This position is responsible for overseeing the nutritional aspects of feed production within the feedmill, collaborating with various departments to ensure product efficacy and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Feed Formulation and Development:

• Develop and optimize animal feed formulations based on nutritional requirements, ingredient availability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends, advancements in animal nutrition, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate implementation of feed formulations during manufacturing processes.

Quality Assurance:

• Monitor and analyze raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards and nutritional specifications.
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished feed products to verify compliance with nutritional requirements and safety regulations.
• Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or customer complaints in a timely manner.

Research and Innovation:

• Conduct nutritional research and trials to evaluate the effectiveness of different feed formulations and ingredients.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in feed formulations to enhance animal health, performance, and feed efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers and industry experts to source new ingredients and technologies that contribute to product innovation and differentiation.

Customer Support and Education:

• Provide technical support and nutritional advice to customers, veterinarians, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop educational materials, training programs, and presentations on animal nutrition topics for internal and external audiences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to animal feed manufacturing, labeling, and marketing.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards pertaining to animal nutrition and feed safety.
• Work closely with regulatory agencies and industry organizations to address any compliance issues or updates.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Feed Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in animal nutrition, feed formulation, and quality assurance within the feed industry.
• Strong knowledge of animal physiology, nutritional requirements, and feed ingredients.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make evidence-based decisions.
• Proficiency in feed formulation software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
