We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Public Relations and Communications Associate

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote clients' brands and initiatives
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media professionals, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure press coverage
• Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks
• Coordinate company’s publicity tours, conferences, media requests, and interviews
• Navigate and manage the social media team and the social calendar for the company’s press releases, byline articles, and keynote speeches.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all communication channels

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications.
• Additional Certifications in Public Relations and Communication would be an added advantage.
• Proven track record of successful media relations and generating high-profile coverage.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in interpersonal interactions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Skilled in creative thinking, capable of producing inventive communication concepts.
• Demonstrates exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
• Seeking candidates with demonstrated social media experience.
• A good experience with Crisis Management is necessary.
• Proficient in technology and well-verse in Current Affairs.
