Job Title: Security Access Administrative Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• To programme, manage and maintain the Security System Access Control Database.
• Accurate and detailed input and processing of personnel data and the production of ID cards with the appropriate authorized levels of holder access, in accordance with job requirements as laid down by management.
• Maintain and revise personnel access privileges as status changes.
• Provide oversight and training of Security System Access Control Guards in the operation of the access control hardware and troubleshoot minor technical issues to ensure unfettered access and egress is maintained.
• Facilitate user understanding regarding access control options and system capabilities, Setup/modify configuration sheets for new/existing installations, Setup/modify access areas/groups/time patterns and map accordingly, User bulk upload/s Monitor SLA on the On-Guard system
• Setup and Manage SQL database, operative, configure and administer access control server, Backup all badge holder information and access information and reports. resolving of access control queries and the producing of reports. Analyze and report faults
• Monitor consumable stock and advise Security and Marine Manager. Ensure all hardware equipment in good working order
• The first point of call in ensuring optimal performance of the entire Access control equipment and software, Train Security and Marine personnel on IT systems. Ensures all systems are efficiently managed are up-to speed for daily operations.
• Produce and analyze reports to identify possible security threats or access violations Analyze productivity reports to monitor staff and improve daily operations
• Ensure confidentiality, data integrity and security of the system.
• React quickly, efficiently and effectively to any emergency drills and protocols as laid down in SOPs’. E.g. Lockdown, Area Musters, Failsafe (fire) etc.
• Organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple activities and programs in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy.
• Physical installation of access control, CCTV and gate systems including the required infrastructure, equipment trim-out and programming of device
• Knowledge of access control theory and different types of door hardware including maglocks & strikes.
• Work with OEM's and other system vendors (e.g. Lenel, SMI readers, and biometrics) to understand and provide input into the product road-map so that its functionality best meets LADOL short and long-term needs.

Education and Qualifications

• University Degree in any related field or equivalent job-related experience
• Windows Server Administration Certificate or relevant certification(s)

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related job.
• SQL database management with at least two years’ experience managing and configuring large database-driven systems, Windows Server Management, Networking, Familiarity with Lenel On-guard system Administration and server.
