We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Manager

Location: Opebi / Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software.
• Oversee, Manage and execute software development projects from beginning to finish.
• Installation & configuration of company’s computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Internet monitoring, troubleshooting and management.
• Creation of official emails and mail management.
• Ensure periodic system security and data backup.
• Prepare budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Prompt response to IT related issues within the company.
• Liaising with third party on IT related matters on behalf of the company.
• Researching, identifying and acting on opportunities to improve our systems.
• Ensure availability of IT accessories and resources for staff.
• Procurement of IT related items (hardware & software).
• Routine system repair/maintenance & any other duties that might be assigned.

Job Requirements

• Proven working experience as an IT Manager or minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software
• systems
• Expertise in data Centre management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Ability to manage personnel
• BSc in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
• Analytical thinking with good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to see potential problems in a system setup & attentions to detail.
• Advance knowledge of IT Software, Hardware, Network and security.
• Knowledge of java, PHP,ASP.NETWeb Application
• Exceptional ability to prioritize and diagnose IT problems
• Extensive experience in analyzing and resolving issues within a reasonable set time.
• Proficiency in designing IT processes and procedures
• Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
• Ability to relay important application feedback to IT Software vendors/Developers
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Support and manage all software application
• Excellent user support Knowledge of database management is an added advantage
• Previous work experience in a logistics company is an added advantage
• Training or a certification in any of the following is an added advantage; Microsoft, CISCO, SOPHOS,
• ITIL Certified
