Job Title: Lead Designer

Job Description

• The Designer will Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to architectural and engineering projects, including directing the design team, reviewing drafts and computer models, and approving design changes.
• Communicating directly with managers, project managers, marketing personnel, and clients to discuss and organise projects from original conceptual design through construction.
• Manage client expectations, drive clear stakeholder communications at different client levels.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team to ensure successful project completion
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and design objectives
• Develop and present design concepts, plans, and layouts that meet project requirements
• Create detailed design drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs are implemented correctly
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and interns
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technology to ensure design solutions are innovative and effective

Educational Requirements

• A Minimum of Bachelors degree in Architecture is Required. Masters degree is an added advantage

Work Tool Specification:

• Personal Gaming Laptop with already installed softwares such as Revit, Autocad and sketchup.

Skills and Competency Requirements:

• Proficient use of Sketchup for 3D conceptual 3D Modelling and material application
• Link to your portfolio (This can be attached in your resume)
• Excellent portfolio of previous works
• Must have over 6 years of work experience in the field
• Use of Autodesk Revit OR Autocad in developing detailed interior construction drawings package.
• Use of Vray or Enscape to develop interior renderings is an added advantage
• Good Communication skills to excellently pitch design ideas to stakeholders
• Comprehensive Use of G-suite for optimum collaboration.
