A hospitality company located in Victoria Island, Lagos, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Graphics Designer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team including Brand Communications, Social Media, Events and Programs Coordinator and Digital Marketer to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Assist in the creation of visually appealing graphics for various digital and print mediums.
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple departments on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Assist with content creation.
• Contribute to the development of design concepts, layouts, and mock-ups.
• Frequently refresh / upgrade brand materials such as brochures, graphics etc, to reflect progress of the brands.
• Execute design tasks with attention to detail and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner ensuring quality standards
• Gain deep knowledge of the company and the industry in order to offer insight and possible creative direction
• Liaise with external printers to ensure printed material is delivered on time, with exceptional quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams within the company to ensure cohesive and impactful visual communication.
• Support the production of marketing materials, presentations, and promotional assets.
• Execute any other tasks as required by management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
• 3 or more years of experience in Graphic Design
• Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Canva).
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.
