Job Title: Cargo Surveyor

Job Description

• We are looking for a Cargo surveyor. The role primarily involves overseeing cocoa loadings into containers for export at Akure.
• Ensure strict adherence to guidelines directed by overseas receivers/buyers, safeguarding our Principal's (overseas receivers) interests.

Responsibilities

• Check and tally the temperature of cocoa bags in the shipper's warehouse.
• Verify the moisture content of cocoa bags before loading into export containers.
• Inspect the moisture content of the container wooden floor before cocoa loading.
• Assess the external and internal structure of containers for sea worthiness.
• Monitor ambient temperature of containers pre and post-loading.
• Count and accurately record cocoa bags during loading process.

Requirements

• Education: OND, B.Sc, or HND.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computer skills.
• Independent: Ready to work without supervision.
• Resilient: Can handle stress.
• Team Player: Excellent communication with colleagues.
