Title: Consultant: Scope of Work (SOW) on the Study to Examine the Correlation between Household Economic Strengthening (HES) on Viral Load Suppression and Food Security among CLHIV Households

Background
The ICHSSA Lot 1 project is being implemented by the Center for Clinical Care and Clinical Research Nigeria (CCCRN) in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), alongside other local resource experts. Since the achievement of a 95% viral load suppression rate among PLHIV is a key component of the project goal, this study seeks to determine whether HES interventions directly influence viral suppression rate and food security among CLHIV in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Bayelsa.
The study results will also help CCCRN and partners examine how successful household economic strengthening interventions sustain viral suppression in suppressed children and improve viral load suppression in previously virally unsuppressed children living with HIV.
Overall Objective
The purpose of the study is to examine the correlation between household economic strengthening interventions and viral load suppression as well as food security among children living with HIV (CLHIV) enrolled on the OVC program in Akwa Ibom State, Cross River and Bayelsa States, Nigeria.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Consultant will:
Developed/finalized the study protocol and instruments – The protocol and study instrument will be conceptualized for Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, and Cross River States.
Lead the training of data collectors and supervisor
Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated database structures and systems that effectively and efficiently support data collection. Provide input and analyses for multi-focused research project(s). Work closely with the Strategic Information and research teams.
Supervise the data collection across the three states
Perform quality assurance and integration of multiple data streams for research studies, student projects, and administrative needs.
Prepare a comprehensive report
Presentation of the report to the management

Qualifications and Requirements
Candidate must possess the following qualification and experience to be hired for the position:
PhD in a relevant field of study as Social Sciences, Public Health, Demography, Statistics or any other related course and at least ten years of related work experience.
Demonstrable research skills such as data analytics, statistics, or survey design.
Impeccable writing and organizational skills.
Proficiency in research design, research report writing, and source analysis.
A thorough knowledge of research procedures and best practices.
Team-working and communication skills.
Ability to conduct research independently.
Knowledge of research and experimental techniques for gathering both qualitative and quantitative data.
A history of published articles, studies, or research work.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience, successfully interacting with USG implementing partners, federal and state government officials, civil society partners, and other stakeholders
