Job Description

• As a Finance Executive, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial reporting.
• Your role will be crucial in providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive the company's financial growth.
• We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can ensure financial integrity, optimize financial performance, and maintain compliance with regulations and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and variances, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets and cost controls.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and profitability.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and ensure financial stability.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax obligations.
• Provide financial guidance and support to cross-functional teams, assisting in decision-making and performance evaluation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance financial processes and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
• Must have 3-5 years experience
• Proven experience as a Finance management or similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or technology industry.
• In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and accounting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling techniques.
• Solid understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and compliance standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a finance team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.

Salary
N150,000 - N350,000 / Month.
