Successful applicants will ideally have to

• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Write requirements-typically as user stories and epics.
• Lead the virtual product team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow the market, share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
• Represent the customer (be a proxy) within the development process.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
• Drive product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
• Participate in and coordinate daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the development team with any questions they may have.
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
• Track product releases.
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• MS / BS.c Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
• Proven work experience of 3-5 years in product management or as an associate product manager.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.

Person Specifications & Qualifications:

• A Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Software Engineering, Web Development or Web Systems Design, and other related fields.
• Formal training in web development will be an advantage
• Experience within the Digital Banking industry is ESSENTIAL
• Extensive experience in delivering a variety of end-to-end projects including Technology & Digital platforms
• IT abilities that are well-developed
• Strong vendor management skills are ESSENTIAL
• Strong stakeholder management is ESSENTIAL.
