The Furniture Showcase, a Subsidiary of Teal Harmony Limited in Surulere, Lagos State provides high-quality furniture and general merchandise for homes, offices, retail stores, hotels, hospitals and schools across Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Furniture Production Coordinator

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties/Responsibilities

• Estimate production costs and set production budgets
• Manage production budgets and Implement cost-control programs
• Plan a production schedule for the job and ensure Implementation and control of the production schedule
• Review and adjust the schedule where needed
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
• Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement when required
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
• Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems

Requirements

• OND/HND/Degree in woodworking, Architecture or any other related discipline
• 3-4 years’ relevant experience in furniture manufacturing with project management skill is a must
• Knowledge of business, finance or management principles would be a plus
• Knowledge of raw materials and quality systems and standards
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
• Knowledge of machines and tools would be an advantage
• Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader
• Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software will be preferred

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
