The accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records of the company, prepare budget for projects, give timely report of cash in flow and out flow.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Magodo - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Prepare receipt for customers
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or Finance.
• 1-2 years of Experience in accounting with proven success especially in the Real Estate Industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks, QuickBooks, Zohobooks
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Additional certification (ICAN) is a plus
• Results-driven attitude with a focus to exceed goals
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting strategies and systems.
