Background

• Our company is undergoing a comprehensive evaluation and enhancement of its core product/platform. We recognize the pivotal role a proficient UI/UX Designer can play in ensuring the success of this endeavor.
• The selected UI/UX Designer will collaborate closely with the rest of the product development team to ensure that products are being developed, packaged, and promoted in ways that meet the needs and wants of end users.

Role Description

• As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for our digital learning platform. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that have a direct impact on the learning journey of our users.
• This role is based in Abuja, Nigeria, however, applicants based in Lagos, may be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and content, to understand user needs, requirements, and business objectives.
• Design and develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create user personas, user flows, and journey maps to inform the design process and enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of solutions, maintaining consistency and usability across all platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.

Salary
N250,000 Monthly.
