Background

• An innovative Edutech enterprise, dedicated to revolutionizing education through cutting-edge solutions, invites applications from qualified individuals to serve as Content Writer in our organization.
• Our company is undergoing a comprehensive evaluation and enhancement of its core product/platform. We recognize the pivotal role a proficient Content Writer can play in ensuring the success of this endeavor.
• The selected Content Writer will collaborate closely with the rest of the instructional designer and the UI/UX designer to develop content that reflects the learning needs and outcomes as defined.

Role Description

• As a Content Writer, you will play a key role in creating engaging and informative content for our digital learning platform. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that have a direct impact on the learning journey of our users.
• Note this is a mid-to long-term Contract role based in Abuja, however, applicants based outside Abuja may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop high-quality content for digital learning materials, including articles, blog posts, tutorials, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Write clear, concise, and compelling copy that effectively communicates complex concepts and engages learners.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts, instructional designers, and educators to understand learning objectives and ensure alignment of content with curriculum goals.
• Adapt content to different formats and platforms, including web, mobile, and multimedia, to enhance user engagement and accessibility.
• Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging topics in vocational education, and incorporate them into content development.
• Revise and edit content based on feedback and performance analysis to continuously improve quality and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on SEO best practices and optimize content for search engine visibility and ranking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Content Writer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills and creativity.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content for diverse audiences.
• Strong research skills and ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with educational content development principles and methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on accuracy
• Relevant experience in Content Writing
