Utmost Blue Gas - Our client is involved in procurement, sale and distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) and has two domestic outlets on the mainland.

Job Title: Business Manager

Job Description

• They are looking to hire a mature and experienced Business Manager to run one of the outlets. Only candidates with at least five year’s management experience in the FMCG or a similar role should apply for this job

Job Summary

• The Business Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and profitable operations of the outlet. They will effectively interface with all Regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with extant regulations.
• They will also implement and ensure adherence to HR policies in matters relating to Staff Welfare and Administration.

Job Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales Target
• Identify New Business Opportunities
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports of business performance for the CEO
• Manage logistics of procurement of LPG from the depot to ensure constant supply:
  • Consistently monitor to ensure staff compliance to standards set out in the SOP
  • Ensure LPG is discharged at appropriate times whilst observing all safety protocols.
  • Ensure adherence of proper dress code for gas fillers
  • Maintain appropriate safety and hygiene of outlet at all times
• Implement HR policies
• Coordinate performance evaluation exercises
• Coordinate cases of discipline and make recommendations as appropriate
• Prepare staff payroll and handle payroll related queries/requests.
• Interact with various categories of service providers for the maintenance and repairs of all Equipment at the Outlet

EHSS:

• Participate in the Company EHSS management system (plans, procedures and specifications).

Job Requirements

• B.Sc in Engineering or Social Sciences
• Experience in a Managerial Role
• A good track record in Business development, sales and marketing.
• Working knowledge of Accounting and Budgeting is necessary
• Experience of successfully managing interaction with regulatory bodies
• Conversant with the use of Accounting Software (quick books)
• Able to use excel effectively to generate reports and carry out data analysis.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
