We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Network Administrator (Fibre)

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full time

Job Objective

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of in-depth experience in network administration.
• The ideal candidate should hold a CISCO Certification or equivalent the role is pivotal in maintaining and optimising our organisation’s network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, security and efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the organization’s local and wide-area networks (LANs and WANs)
• Ensure network architecture meets current and future business requirements
• Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organisation’s networks and systems
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to address vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates and patches to ensure optimal network performance
• Hardware and Software Management:  Manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls and other networking equipment
• Collaborate with IT teams to install, configure and maintain network-related software
• Documentation and Reporting:  Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes and incidents
• Provide regular reports on network performance and security

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator.

Experience & Skills:

• CISCO Certification (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) is required
• Solid understanding of network protocols, topologies and security principles
• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Experience with cloud networking solutions and services
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
