Job Description
We're looking for a passionate and results-oriented Telesales Manager to build and lead a high-performing team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be actively involved in the sales process, while also coaching and mentoring your team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
To Carry out Your Role
You'll recruit, onboard, and train a team of telesales representatives, fostering a positive and results-oriented environment.
Develop and implement a winning sales strategy focused on converting leads into paying customers for PressOne Africa's business phone system solutions.
Coach and mentor your team, providing ongoing support and feedback to ensure they effectively represent PressOne Africa and achieve their sales goals.
Analyse call data and customer interactions to identify trends, optimise call scripts, and continuously improve sales processes.
Set clear and measurable performance metrics to track team and individual success.
Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to ensure a seamless experience for potential and existing customers.
Your Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Management: Oversee all aspects of the telesales team's performance.
Recruitment & Training: Develop and implement a recruitment strategy to attract top talent.
Coaching & Development: Create and deliver training programs to equip your team with the necessary skills to succeed.
Sales Strategy & Process: Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy, including call scripts and processes.
Performance Management: Set clear goals and track individual and team performance metrics.
Quality Assurance: Conduct call reviews and monitor adherence to sales scripts and processes.
Lead Generation & Qualification: Analyse sales data and identify trends to optimise lead generation and qualification strategies.
Requirements
What you should have:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sociology or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B sales role.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis and CRM software.

Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills to develop top-performing sales reps.
A deep understanding of sales metrics and the ability to translate them into actionable insights.
Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
A "get your hands dirty" attitude – you're comfortable making calls yourself and leading by example.
