Job Description

• The ideal candidate will responsible for transcribing audio recordings into written form with accuracy and attention to detail.
• They will collaborate closely with writers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the transcribed content meets editorial standards and enhances overall content quality.

Responsibilities

• Transcribing and translating audio recordings into written form with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborating with writers, designers, to uphold editorial standards and enhance content quality.
• Conducting thorough reviews and edits of content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency before publication.
• Fact-checking content to verify accuracy of information and ensure credibility.
• Providing constructive feedback to writers to improve the quality of their content.
• Prioritizing editorial tasks and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Working with the content team to develop long-term content strategies that align with the company's objectives and target audience.
• Maintaining and updating the company's style guide to ensure consistency in writing style, formatting, and tone across all content

Person Specifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a Transcriber or similar role, preferably in publishing.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary
N80,000 Monthly.
