Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Background

• Our company is undergoing a comprehensive evaluation and enhancement of its core product/platform. We recognize the pivotal role a proficient Product Manager can play in ensuring the success of this endeavor.
• The selected Product Manager will collaborate closely with our team to define, supervise, and execute specific project objectives and key results aligned with product development.

Role Description

• This Product Manager role is primarily based in Abuja, Nigeria, with consideration for applicants in Lagos, Nigeria.
• As a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with our business team to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Additionally, you will oversee the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals. You will conduct market research, gather user feedback, and prioritize features to deliver a superior user experience.
• Furthermore, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and marketing to drive product success.
• You will perform QA checks to ensure that technical products and platforms meet business requirements and user expectations.

Qualifications
We are seeking applications from individuals with the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in product management roles
• Demonstrated ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Strong market research and user-centric product development skills.
• Experience in prioritizing features, conducting user testing, and iterating product designs based on feedback.
• Track record of delivering successful product launches and driving product adoption.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with strategies and tools for identifying user needs, defining product strategy, and creating user-centric experiences
• Solid understanding of web development frameworks, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Experience managing third-party technology vendors is a plus.
• Experience with edtech or education-related technologies is a plus.
